I Morning

The house is yours first.

The bridal suite is yours for the four hours before the ceremony, in a farmhouse that has stood on this land for about 170 years. Hair in the window light, the dress on its hanger, your mother working the last button.

Across the yard, the groom's side gets the corn crib for the entire rental period. Doors open, boots up, nowhere else to be.

II Afternoon
Everyone you love, in one field.
Afternoon

The ceremony, out in the open.

You walk out to the arch with 225 of your people seated on the grass and the Champaign County hills behind you. Or set your ceremony at the barn doors on the brick patio, rugs down the aisle, the quilt square overhead.

Every booking starts with a rehearsal hour, usually Friday evening, so the walk itself holds no surprises.

III Evening
The sky does its part.
Evening

Cocktail hour outside, dinner under the chandeliers.

While the two of you slip out to the field with your photographer, cocktail hour spreads across the brick patio, or moves downstairs into the barn if the weather says so. The fire pit gets going.

Then dinner: 3,600 square feet of barn on two levels, string lights to the rafters, 225 seats, and a chandelier over your head table.

The last dance, under the lights.

The tables push back and the barn turns into a dance floor. At some point you get pulled into the middle of a circle of everyone you know. The night ends with one song, one slow turn, and the string lights still on.
